Christian Scriptural Contradictions – Part 1
Christianity, What a Joke
The Bible is nothing more then a bold faced lie. Even worse, we constantly prove it wrong with scientific truths and it is still one the most revered religious doctrines. What more needs to be done to finally bury this myth from Southwest Asia that was simply blown out of proportion? I’m not saying there is no God(s); I’m just saying I highly doubt it is the one described by Jewish or Christian teachings.
Proof, right. Let’s start at the beginning;Genesis. God, according to Genesis, creates the Earth on the first day. An amazing feat in and of itself, if it were actually true and the Earth didn’t take the billions of years that we now know it did to become what we now see it as. Not a day. Christian beliefs 0, Science 1.
Sticking with Genesis, in fact still in the Story of Creation, there is a second glaring contradiction that one will come upon. According to the Bible Homo-Sapiens were created only five days after the earth. With science validating that the Earth is Billions of years old, then man should also be billions of years old(being as we are 5 days younger then the Earth)? Not quite right. Just a few million years, roughly 3 million. The people who wrote, edited and changed the bible through out history were unaware of these completely accepted scientific facts. I wonder what the Story Of Creation would sound like if they knew what we knew today?
The Bible would also like us to believe man’s only been alive four thousand years or so. Although most ultra-christians who are still thick enough to hold on to creationism like to go with ten thousand years. Funny how they directly disbelieve their own religious teachings. Got to love ironic contradictions.
These are the problems I see in the Bible. I just finished Numbers. The fourth of sixty six books. Gonna be a long read. I personally just can’t, and don’t understand how anyone can, believe in a religion or that religions deity when it is so blatantly wrong in its descriptions of something that it attempts to explain.

Is a Christian wearing rosary beads considered a religion contradiction?
Lately it has been fashion for people to wear rosary beads. I’ve seen entertainment stars such as Lil’ Wayne, Drake and Jay-Z just to name a few wearing rosary beads. I’m not quite sure what their religious faith is (or have one) but I’m Christian. Is it a religious contradiction for a Christian to wear rosary bead?
Supposedly it is sacraligious. The train of thought is that they are prayer aids and wearing them as fashion or as a statement is inappropriate. However, this is just the opinion of members of the church … it is not written anywhere.
Frogma: Yes, but not all Christians are Catholics. Catholics have quite a few rules that other Christians don’t have. Way to be rude for no reason.
